UGHELLI—AT least eight Governors have been penciled for the Adolphus Karibi-Whyte Leadership Honours Award, in appreciation of their peace, development and transformative initiatives in governance.
The Governors are Rotimi Amechi of Rivers State and Timipre Sylva of Bayelsa, for Peace Leadership Honour Medal Award, Niger Delta Region; Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State and Alhaji Sule Lamido of Jigawa State, for Leadership Honours Medal (Infrastructure transformative leadership honour medal price, Nigeria); Godswll Akpabio of Akwa-Ibom, Bukola Saraki of Kwara, Adams Oshiomhole of Edo and Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta, for developmental leadership honor medal award.
According to a statement by Mr Joseph Emperor of the Adolphus Karibi-Whyte International Centre For Leaders and Leadership Studies, Governor Rotimi Amechi will also be honoured in the infrastructural, development and leadership medals award.
He said the event slated for September in Abuja, would also feature public presentation, launching and unveiling of the centre.
According to him, the centre had the vision of bringing out important initiatives to leadership issues and support the need to bind public leadership with nation building. Emperor added that the mission was to promote peace, development, productivity and visionary leadership through forensic studies on leaders and leadership.
