LAGOS—GOVERNOR Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State yesterday inaugurated an 18-man committee to look into conflicts in the concession, expansion and tolling of the Lekki-Epe Expressway.

The team is expected to turn in its report on or before September 30.

Fashola appealed to residents and other road users to allow peace to reign in the area as everything was being done to ensure an amicable resolution of the issues.

Residents of Lekki have been expressing their grievances by protesting against attempt by the concessionaire, Lekki
Concession Company, LCC to toll and fence the expressway.

Chaired of the committee is Mr. Ayo Gbeleyi, Director-General Private Partnership Participation.
