At the end of the day, we only witnessed a team made up of 99 per cent of Amodu Shaibu’s squad. The likes of Peter Utaka, Victor Anichebe, Akpala, among others were rejected and instead, it was the senior Utaka, John, Nwankwo Kanu, Yakubu Aiyegbeni that Lagerback took to South Africa. The young men left camp disappointed.
