Chidoka gets merit award, charged to turn aviation sector around

ABUJA — President Goodluck Jonathan has charged Minister of Aviation, Chief Osita Chidoka, to build on the achievements of his predecessors.

President Jonathan, who gave the charge during the conferment of National Productivity Order of Merit, NPOM, award on  Chidoka, said recipients were being recognised for their productivity and commitment towards nation building.
He  charged them to continue to give their best for the growth and development of the country.

The President, was represented by Vice President, Namadi Sambo at the event, which was chaired by the Minister of Labour, Chief Emeka Nwogu.
The event also witnessed the conferment of the award on other notable Nigerians, who had made significant contributions to the development of the country in their various fields of endeavour.
