President Muhammadu Buhari has been hailed over his nomination of Prof. Omoyele Daramola, as Ondo State ministerial nominee.‎

The Chairman, Ondo Roundtable, Mr Kayode Fakuyi, in a statement made available to newsmen in Akure, said President Buhari has reintegrated and repositioned Ondo State on the developmental map of the country with the nomination of Prof. Daramola.

Fakuyi who coordinated the Ondo State chapter of Buhari Vanguard during the last Presidential Campaign said: “With the nomination of Prof. Claudius Omoyele Daramola, President Muhammadu Buhari has reintegrated and repositioned our dear state ‎on the developmental map of the country.

“Like President Buhari, Prof. Daramola is a man of unchallengeable integrity. The ministerial nominee is a thorough-bred technocrat who is profoundly in touch with political realities and the regrettable economic downturn in Ondo State.

“Given the prerogative of Mr President to decides who works with him in the capacity of cabinet member, we urge other ministerial hopefuls to put the pre-ministerial nomination politics behind themselves and wo‎rk together with Prof. Daramola in the general interest of Ondo State.

Fakuyi urged the trio of Senators ‎Yele Omogunwa, Ajayi Boroffice and Tayo Alasoadura to shun political interests and personal sentiments, and unite in order to guarantee smooth screening exercise for Prof. Daramola at the Senate of the Federal Republic. ‎
