ASABA—Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State has ordered the Chairman of Warri North Local Government Area of the state, Chief Francis Maku, to investigate the remote and immediate causes of the crisis rocking Egoro community in the area.

Okowa’s directive was conveyed to the chairman by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Mr. Festus Agas, at a meeting in Asaba.

Mr. Agas said: “Governor Okowa’s administration is very concerned about consolidating the   peace the state has achieved and is making efforts to sustain it.”

He urged the people to embrace peace, which he said,  “Is the hallmark of development. No community can be developed without peace.”
