Egbo receives blessings from Delta monarch

In continuation of the sensitization/familiarization tour across the state, the Delta State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) youth leader, Hon.Victor Egbo has led his team to receive blessings from His Royal Majesty, Barr. Peremobowei Shadrack Erebulu, Aduo III, the Pere of Kabowei Kingdom in the state.

Egbo received the Royal blessings at the palace of the Pere of Kabowei Kingdom when He visited the traditional ruler alongside his team to intimate him on the ongoing exercise at the headquarters of Patani, in Patani Local Government Area.

While addressing the Royal Father, the state youth leader stressed that the importance of the visit to his kingdom and across the Local Government, following his assumption of office as the new PDP youth leader was to familiarize with the LG youth leaders and the party youths in the locality following his assumption of office as the new PDP youth leader in the state.

He added that it was to be abreast with their challenges so as to work closely towards proffering solutions as they prepare for the forthcoming general elections in 2023.

Responding, HRM Barr Peremobowei Shadrack , Aduo III, while responding, commended the exercise as according to him was a worthy initiative and avenue to pass the right message of peace to the youths across the communities, stressing most of the violence been carried out during electioneering period were youths who had wrong orientation from their respective leaders.

He also frowned at the use of social media to promote fake news to discredit candidates which, according to him, was part of what was generating hatred and crisis within the community.

”As you go around from one community to another, please, endeavour to tell people that the politics we play are not that of violence.

There is the need to shun any form of violence,” he said.

The meeting ended with prayers by the Pere for more wisdom for the youth leader and his team to pilot the affairs of the youths in the state.
