The All Progressives Congress, APC, has lauded President Bola Tinubu and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Senator George Akume over the recent appointment of Dr. Matthias Byuan as Executive Director, Housing Finance and Accounts of the Federal Housing Authority.

The party described the appointment of Dr. Byuan as apt assuring that with his wealth of experience he would discharge his duties with all sense of commitment and responsibility.

The Benue state chapter of the APC in a statement, weekend, by it Publicity Secretary, Daniel Ihomun urged the appointee to see his elevation as a call to service to the nation.

The party noted that Dr. Byuan had in the past proven his mettle in other positions of responsibility assuring that he would also make a mark in his new assignment.

While congratulating the appointee on his appointment, the APC expressed confidence in his ability to improve the housing deficit in the country in the discharge of his responsibilities.

Part of the statement read, “the party urges Dr. Byuan to bring his wealth of experience in the private sector to bear on his new appointment. And to see this appointment as a national call to service to his fatherland.

“The party expresses confidence in his ability to improve the housing deficit in Nigeria and discharge the duties and functions of his office as expected of him without any iota of doubt since he has proven his worth in many other responsibilities he was saddled with in the past.

“The party sincerely appreciates President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his love for Benue State and the Leader of APC in Benue State and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. George Akume  for facilitating the appointment and urge them to do more for other sons and daughters of Benue State.”
