Peter Oboh and Doerte
Ex-British and Commonwealth Light Heavyweight boxing champion, Peter Oboh, has declared that boxing is the most difficult sport in the world, and he appreciated those who do it for charity, such as white collar boxing.
Oboh said this yesterday, Saturday, while appreciating Lady Doerte from Germany, after a white collar boxing show in the Miguels GYM in Brixton, South East, London, as an Easter Eve boxing show.
He also had words of praises and encouragement for another white collar boxer — Helen.
According to Oboh, “One big truth is that the most difficult sport in the world is boxing. This is so because after a contest both the winner and non-winner must go through pains. It takes extra courage and heart to box at any level.
“To enter a boxing ring for a contest takes a lion’s heart and it takes the tiger’s eye not to run out of the ring when the going gets tough.
“I strongly believe all the three major boxing groups deserve supper respect. The boxing groups are mainstream boxing, which is pro boxing.
There is also amateur boxing, and then the white collar boxing.
“You must be a superhuman to be involved in this tough and interesting fighting sports,” he concluded.
