Aggrieved female members of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC on Friday stormed the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja, in protest over what they described as negligence by the APC National Woman Leader, Dr Mary Alile-Idele.

The women who protesters under the aegis of “Concerned APC Women”, consequently demanded the resignation of Dr Alile-Idele.

Accusing her of negligence and pursuit of personal interests the women chanted solidarity songs and displayed placards some of which read, ‘Enough is Enough!’ ‘Mary Alile Resign Now’ and ‘APC Women Leader Must Go’.

They therefore appealed to the First Lady and the APC National Chairman, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, to remove her for continually undermining female members of the party.
