NYCN Europe chapter appoints IT expert, Ogieva as Media Director

The National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Europe chapter has appointed Uwagboe Ogieva as Media Director.


Ogieva, European licensed and certified software expert, a patriotic, amiable Nigerian who has been working for the betterment of Nigeria youths in the diaspora is based in Spain.


The Edo born dude had his basic education in Edo state of Nigeria, has a degree in Banking and finance, Master in IT and AI technology, CEO of OWAG Nigeria Limited, a company that deals in software, apps and system analysis. Uwagboe Ogieva is a blogger, freelance writer and author.


Governor of the Council, Europe chapter, Ambassador Collins Idahosa, in a chat with Vanguard, said the appointment became imperative not only to tap into the expertise and technical know-how of Ogieva but also to give the media operation of the Europe council a big boost for proper information dissemination to all members across Europe and in the home country.


He stated that the council and the youth would benefit tremendously from the experience and expertise of Uwagboe Ogieva.


Reacting to the appointment, Ogieva thanked the Governor and all members of the NYCN Europe Chapter for their commitment and dedication to changing the youths’ narratives both at home country and in the diaspora.


He said, “with the huge success of the ‘Associacion de Edo en Barcelona’, and the expansion of the social media platforms, such as twitter, facebook, whatsapp and Instagram, I begin to envisage larger community and organisation.”
