Nigerian environmental trailblazer, Abdulrazaq Ridwan was the cynosure to behold at the star-studded Prince’s Trust and TK Maxx and Homesense Awards in London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane recently.

Ridwan, in an exclusive interview with Vanguard, walked ace presenter, Precious Chukwudi through his journey and how he won the prestigious Global Sustainability Award in London, where he met His Majesty King Charles III during a reception at Buckingham Palace to celebrate the winners’ achievements.

As a designer and auditor, Ridwan was recognized for his ground-breaking work in designing and delivering solar energy systems. The Prince’s award recipient is helping to drive economic growth and lower carbon emissions as well as enhancing the lives of countless Nigerians especially in low-income rural areas.
