This year’s event promises to be a haven for voiceover professionals, offering opportunities to refine their skills, connect with industry leaders, and propel their careers forward.

The conference is the brainchild of Emmanuel Afemikhe, convener and founder of Voiceover Workshop.

Afemikhe, speaking at a media event on June 20th, emphasized the conference’s core mission: “This is our fifth edition, and we’re committed to empowering young people to use their voices and rewrite the history of voiceover in Nigeria.” He openly shared a personal story of how voiceover not only empowered him but also became his path to success.

“Voiceover helped me overcome financial hurdles during university,” Afemikhe revealed. “It funded my education and ultimately led me to train other voiceover artists. The Voiceover Conference is a direct extension of that passion.”

“Dare: The Audacity to Break New Grounds” is the chosen theme for this year’s conference, setting the stage for an inspiring and informative experience. Attendees can look forward to a lineup of prominent speakers, including Joan Baker, Wale Ekundayo, Flora Gabtony, Ayomide Ibrahim, Marc Cashman, and more.
