This report, from CEO World Ranking, highlights the 10 happiest countries, each exemplifying unique approaches to fostering happiness.

The researchers analyzed comprehensive polling data from 146 countries for the past four years to determine the happiest countries. The analysis specifically monitored performance categories: GDP per capita, social welfare support, healthy life expectancy, freedom to make your own life choices, generosity of the general population, and perceptions of corruption levels.

1. Finland

Finland ranks as the world’s happiest country in the 2024 Global Happiness Report, scoring 95.67 out of 100. Researchers attribute this to strong communal support, mutual trust, a firm belief in personal freedom, and minimal suspicion of government corruption—key factors contributing to overall happiness.

2. Denmark

Denmark is the second-happiest country in the world, scoring 95.31. Its values are similar to Finland’s, often surpassing it in GDP per capita, generosity, and low perceived corruption. This suggests Denmark might soon take the top spot.

3. Iceland

Iceland is the third-happiest country in the world for 2024, with a score of 95.29. Strong social support, high life satisfaction, and a close-knit community contribute to its high ranking.
