Man arraigned for adulterating Coscharis products

A 40-year-old man, Okechukwu Ambrose, has been arraigned before an Ebute-Meta Magistrates Court in Lagos for allegedly adulterating KG and Nachi bearings, a product of Coscharis Motors Plc.

In a four-count charge of forgery and fraud, the Police alleged that Okechukwu and others still at large between April and May 2024, at 17, Cosharis Industrial Estate, in the Maza-Mazi area of Lagos, conspired among themselves to forge KG and Nachi bearings and used it to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.

One of the charges read: ”That you Okechukwu Ambrose and others still at large on the same date, time and place in the aforementioned Magistrate District did adulterate KG and Nachi bearings the trade mark belonging to Cosharis Motors Plc, which affects or change materially the quality, substance, nature or efficacy of the product, without notice to the purchaser or knowing that the same was sold as manufactured or processed product.”
