The Chairman of Arewa Youths Awareness on Leadership and Election in Bauchi State, Khamis Musa Darazo who has a remarkable history of showing his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has lauded him for increasing NYSC allowance to N77,000.

Darazo who donated his NYSC allowance to Tinubu’s presidential campaign, described the increase as a thoughtful gesture, considering the economic hardship faced by Nigerians.

He told Vanguard via phone on Friday that the new allowance would cushion the effects of inflation, hikes in transportation fares, electricity costs, and the removal of fuel subsidies.

“The president’s magnanimity in approving N77,000 as the allowance for corp members showcases the government’s sensitivity to the plight of the masses,” Darazo said.

He acknowledged the federal government’s efforts in supporting corp members during Nigeria’s harsh economic downturn.

Darazo further expressed gratitude for the increased allowance, citing it as a demonstration of President Tinubu’s commitment to empowering Nigerian youths and acknowledging their contributions to national development.

He noted further that the increment will boost the morale of corp members, motivating them to excel during their service year.

“The president’s leadership and vision for a prosperous Nigeria are truly inspiring,” Darazo concluded. This development highlights the current administration’s dedication to its citizens’ welfare, including corp members.”

Recall that in a heartfelt gesture, after the Supreme court affirmation of Tinubu’s victory, Darazo renamed his daughter after President Tinubu’s mother, solidifying his loyalty and admiration for the president.
