ABUJA – THE British American University of California and Kings College British-American Institute, Abuja, has honoured the Managing Director, Well Intervention Nigeria Limited, Hon Gabriel Bravo Oluohu, JP, with an Honorary Doctorate Degree (Homoris Causa) in Human Letters.

The Vice Chancellor, University of California and Kings College British-American Institute, Abuja, Prof David Day on behalf of the management of the institution said the awardee is being recognized for his distinguished performance in different fields of endeavors.

According to Day, the institution is world-class, the Vice Chancellor also said it offers opportunities for interested Nigerians to study and complete their training at its Florida campus in the USA.

The investiture was done at the Educational Research Centre, ERC, Abuja, where in his response the latest Doctorate Degree holder, Hon Bravo thanked the management of the institution for deeming it fit to honour him with the title.

The awardee who is a multiple award winner, politician, farmer, and businessman said the award is a plus to him also appreciated both the management and all his well-wishers for their support saying without their solidarity, it wouldn’t have been possible.

However, he advised Nigerians to always put in their best in whatever endeavour they lay their hands on and added that there is grace for excellence in every position.

Born into the Royal family of Chief Anthony Bravo Oluohu (Ogadachichi 1 of Yala) of Igbekurekor and Mrs Patricia Ofie Gabriel of Alifokpa, Yache in Yala LGA of Cross River State, he had his primary & post-primary education in Cross River State before proceeding to Abuja for his university education.

Hon. Bravo is a prominent player in the politics of the Federal Capital Territory where he steadily rose to serve as Supervisory Councillor in four different departments in AMAC namely: Supervisory Councilor for Education, Sports and Social Development, Health and Social Services, Environment, Finance, Budget and Investment. This makes Hon. Oluohu a great ambassador of Cross River State in the Federal Capital Territory.

Bravo is a family man, a political think-tank, an agricultural entrepreneur, a businessman with a specialty in capacity building, a financial consultant, and an integrated service provider.

He is the Managing Director/Chief Executive officer (CEO) of Well Intervention Limited and other blue-chip companies. His down-to-earth approach has earned him several awards from across the country amongst which are Award of Honour by the Legend Club of Nigeria in recognition of hard work, commitment, determination, and legendary achievements.

The Cross River-born politician is known to have donated huge sums of money to several categories of Nigerians over the decades without asking for anything in return or breathing down their necks for patronage.
