Let’s remain committed to our positive dreams for Nigeria – Onoyona

By Jimitota Onoyume

Nigerians have been told to remain committed to their dreams of a great nation.

President and Founder Allwell Healthcare Certification, Dr Mrs Philomena Nkem Onoyona made the call in her message on the occasion of the nation’s independence anniversary.

Her words : ” As we think back on Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day, we pause to reflect on the journey that has shaped us—a journey of courage, resilience, and boundless hope. Our nation’s story is one of triumph over adversity, of rising above challenges to stand tall and proud. Though our journey has not been without challenges, every step forward is a testament to our unwavering spirit. Today, we honor the sacrifices of those who fought and the unwavering spirit that continues to drive us forward.

“Though we have faced moments of uncertainty, we remain a people of incredible strength, united by our diversity and our shared dreams. In every corner of this nation, there is hope—hope in the hearts of our children, in the hands of our farmers, in the creativity of our youth, and the determination of our leaders and citizens alike. It is this hope that reminds us that no matter how difficult the road may seem, a brighter tomorrow is always within reach.

“Let us remember that the Nigeria we dream of—a nation of peace, prosperity, and opportunity for all – is slipping from our hands but—is not beyond us. It lives in the compassion we show one another, in the unity we build across differences, and in the progress we make when we refuse to give up. The challenges we face today are stepping stones to a future filled with promise.

“As we reflect on this day, let us renew our commitment to the Nigeria we know we can become. Together, we can rise. Together, we can build. Together, we can heal.

“Happy Independence Day, Nigeria. May our hope never fade, and may our dreams for this beloved nation soar higher with each passing year.
