Advantage Health Africa celebrates myMedicines anniversary, gives free  antihypertensive medications

To celebrate the 7th anniversary of its innovative medication delivery platform, myMedicines, Advantage Health Africa organised a health outreach at Ikeja City Mall on September 30th. The event, aimed at empowering over 100 entrepreneurs, provided free health services, vital checks, and educational sessions focused on maintaining healthy lifestyles while managing business demands.

Participants at the event benefited from free vital checks, including blood pressure, blood sugar, and body mass index (BMI) tests, conducted by a team of healthcare professionals. This offered many entrepreneurs a rare opportunity to assess their health status and receive personalised advice on how to stay healthy while running their businesses.

Reflecting on the success of the event, the Founder of Advantage Health Africa, Abimbola Adebakin, expressed her satisfaction: “At Advantage Health Africa, we are committed to ensuring that Nigerians have access to the healthcare they need, anytime and anywhere. Our platform, myMedicines, has been instrumental in delivering medications to people in the most remote places. Marking this 7th anniversary by empowering entrepreneurs was a way for us to give back to the community that continues to support us.”
Entrepreneurs were not only provided with healthcare services but were also introduced to myMedicines’ innovative platform, which ensures that users can access medications on time, regardless of their location. With its seamless delivery service, myMedicines has continued to address the challenges of medication accessibility in Nigeria, making it easier for individuals and businesses alike to receive their medications without delays or unnecessary stress.

Advantage Health Africa has built a reputation for its commitment to health innovation, and this outreach served as a testament to the company’s dedication to promoting both physical and business health for Nigerian entrepreneurs.

The event concluded with participants expressing gratitude for the invaluable health services provided, with many entrepreneurs noting the positive impact of the health checks and the knowledge gained during the sessions.

As Advantage Health Africa looks to the future, it is focused on expanding access to healthcare and continuing to drive innovation in medication delivery, ensuring that more Nigerians can live healthier lives while running their businesses with peace of mind.
