ABUJA – The Niger Delta Rural Women Development Front (NDRWDF) has appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to appoint a champion of marginalized communities to his cabinet.

The group’s plea came as President Tinubu prepares to make key appointments to drive his Renewed Hope Agenda.

The NDRWDF emphasized the need for inclusive leadership, citing Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejuosho’s extensive expertise and commitment to social development.

In a statement signed in Abuja on Saturday, NDRWDF’s National Spokesperson, Comrade Tamarapreye Nemi, and Secretary, Comrade (Mrs.) Ochuko F. Mercy highlighted Dr. Tejuosho’s impressive track record of philanthropy.

According to them, Dr. Tejuosho has implemented numerous programs supporting vulnerable populations, including widows, orphans, unemployed youth, and persons with disabilities (PWDs).

The statement read, “By appointing Dr. Tejuosho, President Tinubu would not only enhance the effectiveness of his Renewed Hope Agenda but also demonstrate a genuine commitment to inclusive governance.

“Her humanitarian efforts are a rare virtue in contemporary Nigeria. Dr. Tejuosho’s innovative approach and deep-rooted patriotism would be invaluable assets to President Tinubu’s administration.

“We are confident that Dr. Tejuosho, if given the opportunity to serve, would implement transformative policies that could substantially improve the socio-economic conditions of many Nigerians.

“Dr. Tejuosho’s appointment would mark a significant step towards fostering inclusivity in governance, effectively addressing the diverse needs of the Nigerian populace.

“Such an appointment would earn President Tinubu accolades both nationally and internationally.”
