The Renewed Hope Youth Alliance (RHYA) has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for its bold and transformative economic, agricultural, and social reforms, describing them as pivotal steps toward national revitalization.

In a statement delivered by Comrade Awoyinfa Opeoluwa, National Coordinator of RHYA, the group emphasized the administration’s focus on youth empowerment and its dedication to positioning Nigerian youth as key drivers of the nation’s future.

Highlighting the government’s achievements in less than two years, Opeoluwa pointed to significant reforms in agriculture, with large-scale acquisition of farmland and investment in mechanized farming.

These steps, he said, are part of broader initiatives designed to enhance food security, create jobs, and stimulate rural economies.

On the economic front, Tinubu’s administration has implemented sweeping changes, resulting in the doubling of government revenue to over ₦9.1 trillion, reducing debt service obligations, and improving foreign exchange stability by clearing $5 billion in outstanding obligations.

The increased oil production, now at 1.61 million barrels per day, reflects the administration’s commitment to optimizing Nigeria’s natural resources.

The youth group also praised the President for introducing a range of youth-centric policies. Among these is the establishment of the Nigerian Youth Academy (NIYA) to nurture future leaders, the Skill-Up Artisans Programme (SUPA), and a Student Loan Scheme aimed at making education more accessible.

Opeoluwa noted that these initiatives underscore President Tinubu’s determination to ensure that young Nigerians have the tools and opportunities to thrive.

In his Independence Day address, President Tinubu announced plans for a 30-day National Youth Conference, a move RHYA sees as a strong testament to the administration’s commitment to youth engagement and development.

“President Tinubu’s leadership has consistently focused on uplifting young Nigerians and ensuring their inclusion in national development. The unprecedented ₦77,000 monthly payment to NYSC members is a bold statement of this administration’s intent to support and empower the next generation,” Opeoluwa said.

The group called on Nigerian youth to support the administration’s efforts and remain optimistic about the nation’s future, despite current challenges.

“We must reject the temptation to succumb to negativity. The path to greatness is fraught with difficulty, but through unity and determination, we can overcome,” Opeoluwa added.

The RHYA urged citizens to rally behind President Tinubu’s vision of a more prosperous and inclusive Nigeria, calling his policies a “blueprint for a better tomorrow.”

The group emphasized that while the nation faces short-term hurdles, the long-term benefits of these reforms will usher in a new era of national progress and stability.
