Lifestyle and wellness-focused direct-selling company, QNET, alongside its local partner, Transblue Nigeria Limited, has reaffirmed its commitment to driving innovation and expanding entrepreneurship opportunities in Nigeria.

This pledge was emphasized during the VCON 2024 Media Webinar held on Thursday, where media partners, including notable journalists, shared their experiences from the global V-Convention held in Penang, Malaysia.

QNET’s legal partner in Nigeria, Mr. Akeem Ajisafe, provided crucial insights during the webinar, discussing the significance of the VCON and its role in empowering aspiring entrepreneurs across Nigeria.

As the direct selling industry continues to grow—valued at over $167 billion in 2023 and projected to reach $204.89 billion by 2032—VCON offers a platform for individuals to leverage entrepreneurship opportunities with minimal capital investment.

Ajisafe said: “Direct selling is an often misunderstood concept in Nigeria, where pyramid schemes have tainted its reputation.

“However, VCON dispels these misconceptions by highlighting ethical practices, sustainable businesses, and promoting entrepreneurship as a powerful vehicle for economic growth

“The V-Convention is QNET’s flagship event and the largest gathering of network marketing professionals globally.

“The 2024 edition, attended by over 8,000 entrepreneurs from more than 30 countries, showcased QNET’s latest product innovations that align with its focus on wellness and sustainability.

“Products such as the HomePure Rayn (an advanced water filtration showerhead) and the WaveRider Sports Utility Watch by Bernhard H. Mayer were introduced, further solidifying QNET’s position at the forefront of innovation,” he explained.

He noted that, “QNET’s business model, powered by e-commerce, has empowered millions of entrepreneurs worldwide, providing Nigerians with access to global business opportunities.

“Through its Independent Representative (IR) network, QNET enables Nigerians to establish and grow their own businesses with minimal upfront investment.

“QNET is committed to equipping Nigerians with the tools, knowledge, and resources they need to thrive as entrepreneurs,” said Ajisafe.

“VCON is a testament to this vision, and we are proud to partner with the media to amplify this message of empowerment and economic growth.”

Also, Senior Legal Counsel, Sub-Saharan Africa at QNET, Naana Quartey said that QNET is more than just a direct-selling company.

She said: “We are product-oriented, focused on delivering exceptional products across categories like health, wellness, personal care, and more. These products enhance lives, and through our e-commerce platform, we provide financial independence for entrepreneurs around the world.

“In addition to its focus on entrepreneurship, QNET remains dedicated to innovation and sustainability. “Its latest products, including the Serendipity Collection of luxury jewelry and eco-friendly solutions, reflect the growing consumer demand for wellness and responsible business practices. “QNET’s partnership with Responsible Jewellery Council-certified suppliers reinforces the company’s commitment to ethical sourcing and sustainability,” Quartey maintained.

Reflecting on the V-Convention, Peter Oluka, a Nigerian journalist who attended the event, said, “The V-Convention was a transformative experience. It brought together entrepreneurs from across the globe, offering unique opportunities for both personal and professional growth. The insights I gained into the direct-selling industry and the potential for entrepreneurship were invaluable.”

Another journalist, Sulaiman Aledeh, described his experience as thrilling.

He said: “The V-Convention was more than just a business event. It was a gathering of like-minded individuals who are passionate about personal growth, entrepreneurship, and wellness.

“The energy and enthusiasm were palpable, and it was inspiring to see so many people coming together to support each other’s goals.

“One of the things that struck me most about the V-Convention was the sense of community and camaraderie among the attendees. Everyone was there to learn, grow, and support each other, and it created a truly inspiring atmosphere,” Aledeh added.

QNET’s partnership with Transblue Nigeria Limited, established in April 2022, continues to enhance local customer service and logistics support, further strengthening the company’s presence in Nigeria. Together, QNET and Transblue aim to create sustainable growth avenues for Nigerian youth by connecting them to the company’s global network of opportunities.

According to the company, it’s mission is guided by its core philosophy, RYTHM—“Raise Yourself To Help Mankind”—and this mission drives it’s success in empowering others.

It noted that through VCON and its ongoing initiatives, it committed to fostering a thriving community of entrepreneurs in Nigeria, offering them a pathway to financial independence and global collaboration.
